On the 22nd of October, 2017 Wotomoto, in collaboration with the ASMK organised the first ever BETA Motorcycle open day. And what a day it was!
20 racers took part in an Enduro race, where the racer that finishes the track in the shortest time possible, would win an incredible Beta RR 2T 250RC for use for a year.
Bernard Sammut managed to speed through the track in the shortest time, and therefore he was crowned as our winner for the first edition of this event. Bernard is now the proud owner of the Beta RR 2T 250RC, and he will be using it this year to compete in competitions both locally and outside of Malta.
Besides all the flying mud, crazy jumps and sky-high adrenaline levels, there were also several other things to keep the crowd entertained. Our event partners Go & Fun made sure that everyone was kept hydrated and energised with their free-flowing selection of superb energy drinks, juices, and isotonic drinks. All natural of course. Goodie bags for all the riders were also provided by Go & Fun – thank you so much for the support!
The Toyota Hilux also made an appearance during the event, alongside a wide selection of Beta Motorcycles, and other bike brands such as Keeway and Benelli. Visitors also had the opportunity to try out a range of really cool Benelli electric bicycles that are absolutely perfect for day-to-day commuting and avoiding traffic.
This event would not have been possible without the help of the ASMK, that helped to set up the track for the event and make use of their facilities.
