Wotomoto takes an active interest in what its suppliers are doing with their own bikes. Beta Motorcycles is one such supplier whose motorcycles Wotomoto stocks. They are also one of the more exciting manufacturers as they have their own factory team that competes in the World Enduro Championship.
Last week saw Team Beta Factory Enduro place first and second at the Enduro GP in Spoleto, Italy. Beta riders Alex Salvini and Steve Holcombe strived hard between them to secure first and second place in the race, eclipsing the competition on day one of the event.
Despite being team mates, the two riders exchanged first place several times throughout the race as they fought for supremacy. In the end it was Steve Holcombe who won with Alex Salvini in second place. Holcombe was also awarded the gold table to celebrate his lead in his class.
Day two saw an equally entertaining race where Holcombe placed second and Salvini fourth. Holcombe now leads the World Enduro Championship by a comfortable 21 points. There will be no resting on laurels though as competition is fierce both from within the team and without.
Beta Motorcycles’ other competitive team, Beta Boano also participated in the junior class, placing first and second with Brad Freeman winning and Matteo Cavallo coming in second.

“I’m happy about the race weekend, yesterday it was nice to fight with my teammate for the first place, it was a fascinating battle. Today, however, did not go as expected but I’m still happy because I’m the new leader of the Enduro GP”.
Alex Salvini
“It was a pity for yesterday, with Steve we struggled up to the last for first place. At the last Enduro test I made a fatal mistake but such are these races. Even on the second day of the race I tried to get on the podium, arriving at the last special test with a few seconds of disadvantage and giving it all but without success”.
