University of Malta teams up with Wotomoto


University of Malta and Wotomoto have teamed up to offer students great discounts on the purchase of new scooters through the KSU two-wheel fund. In an effort to provide a helping hand to students wanting to get onto two wheels, the University council and Wotomoto are offering a €300 discount towards the cost of a scooter or motorcycle up to 125cc. So if you want to get on two wheels to beat the traffic and parking hassles, it is now €300 cheaper than ever before.

€300 discounts are limited to the first 20 applicants so better move fast if you want to save money on your new bike!

Parking on campus might just become a headache of the past once you get on a bike, so avoid the extra stress and make sure to get to your lectures on time.

About the KSU Two-wheel Fund

The KSU Two-wheel Fund has been introduced specifically for students to help them get on two wheels. A total fund of €3,000 has been made available with a maximum individual contribution of €150. This means 20 lucky students could get a discount on their first bike. Wotomoto will match that €150 contribution giving you a total discount of up to €300.

Below is the small print:

  • Fund is available to University of Malta students only.
  • Fund is available to purchases of 125cc motorcycles and under.
  • Applications must contain:
    1. Application Form
    2. Photocopy of Valid A1 Motor License
    3. Proof of Purchase
    4. Log Book with same name as on driving license
    5. Screenshot of Esims Account
  • The Council is allocating a total of €3,000 for the fund. Each applicant is eligible to €150 rebate on their purchase.
  • Each applicant may benefit only once.
  • In order to benefit from the fund, applicant has to attend compulsory Road Safety Information Session to be held by the Council.
  • Final decisions which regards to eligibility are to be made by the KSU Financial Officer, KSU President and KSU Vice President.
  • Eligible applications are open to purchases ranging from January 2017 till May 2017.
  • The fund shall be distributed on a first come first served basis.
  • Applications are to be handed in at the KSU Office.
  • Applications shall be accepted from 3rd of May 2017 at 12.00pm till 31st May 2017 at 5.00pm.
